Moto GIF
I've found that taking burst photos on an iPhone is one of the best ways to get a killer action shot. I take them a lot at the race track, and the Baja Brawl was no exception. Below is an animated GIF of the #51 from 31 photos in a burst.

September 1st
How has it become September 1st? It's wild to think that it's Labor Day weekend and summer is ending. I've had so many adventures this year, and I am not quite done yet. I've traveled to well over 15 different cities in at least 11 different states within 7 months and I am currently on my flight to Flint, Michigan to run around the state with one of my favorite people. I've been looking forward to this trip for quite a while now. There's just something intriguing about playing dress up for a wedding one day and then waking up the next day to go play in the dirt at a race track. This weekend marks the pivot point from my hectic adventurous summer and begins wedding season. Stay tuned to see my fun creative wedding gifts I've been working on as well as updates from the notorious Baja Brawl.

#TeamBurrito
Now and then I get to do some goofy side projects for fun. It doesn't get much goofier than a #TeamBurrito logo that a few motocross racers wanted for some hoodies.
The logo above started out as a sketch on paper. If I find the original doodle, I'll be sure to add it to the post. I scanned the sharpie sketch into Adobe Illustrator and vectorized it. I kept it one color thinking it would be for screen printed apparel. The moto guys took it to the next level-and got leather patches made for their gear. The person who made the patches added color and they turned out pretty killer.
In order to get some hoodies made, I'm going to add some color to the Illustrator file and do direct to garment printing (DTG), so we can do one-off printing and get as many colors as the guys would like. It's definitely been a fun little project that will soon hit the race tracks! Best of luck to any Team Burrito members racing this weekend at the Loretta Lynn Qualifier at Baja Acres.

Vector Transition
I've been working on a project that includes some vector work and I thought the transition from the photo to vector was visually interesting. See it below.

Throttle Down Speed Co's 51
Steve Murray rode his YZ250 this weekend at the Polka Dots MC Motocross practice day (Saturday) & race day (Sunday) that has fresh new graphics for this year including the Throttle Down Speed Co. logo. The 51 went 5-5 on race day & looked pretty sharp.

Throttle Down Speed Co. Logo Within The Industry
It's pretty cool to see your logo integrated more and more within the motorcycle industry. Even just the other day, an old friend of mine said he saw a Throttle Down Speed Co. t-shirt being worn at a swap meet down around Baltimore. Not only is it exciting to hear people representing our apparel, but it's also great to see it on the race track.
GNC1 racer Dan Bromley is sporting our logo on his AMA Pro Flat Track leathers and jerseys this year. Above is one of his leathers with the Throttle Down Speed Co. logo printed and stitched onto his throttle arm.
Our newer GNC2 racer Tristan Avery sported one of our Throttle Down Speed Co. stickers on his helmet at the AMA Pro Flat Track Daytona Short Track season opener this year. Photo by mrsjjfive.
Our new GNC2 rider Charlotte Kainz got our logo worked into her 450 graphics for this season, and we've got to say it looks killer. Having your logo mixed in with respected brands that have been in the industry for quite some time is surely an accomplishment that I'm proud of.
Aside from flat track, we also have our logo on Steve Murray's 450 motocross bike that he races in the amateur motocross races in Michigan. In 2016 you can find our logo back by the air box, also mixed in amongst reputable brands.
The intentions are for the Throttle Down Speed Co. brand to continue to grow within the motorcycle industry including on the tracks and in the stands. Our goal is appeal to the racers, the fans, the riders and anyone embracing the two-wheel culture. We'll see where our logo turns up next!
